For wedding and special event cakes the most difficult question to answer is "how much will this cost?" Cake prices vary according to the size and design of the cake. For weddings and special event cakes, such as groom's cake or anniversary cakes, pricing is based on flavor, filling and icing choices. For buttercream frosted cakes , prices start at $3.75 per serving; cupcakes start at $2.65; Fondant-covered cakes begin at $5 per serving. CrazyCakeChicks never charges for set up. Wedding cake deliveries are free on Oak Island and other locales are charged only a modest delivery fee.

A wedding cake serving is typically sized at 1” x 2”x 4”. The number of servings any particular cake design provides may not exactly match the number of guests you need to serve. We will work with you to get as close as possible to the number of guests you expect. Traditionally, the top tier of a wedding cake is not included in the number of servings you order. and is frozen and saved for your first anniversary.  At CrazyCakeChicks we will honor this tradition or we will provide a coupon for a six-inch replica of your top tier as our anniversary gift to you.  If you don't think you'll return to Oak Island for your anniversary celebration, you may choose a 6" honeymoon cake--a small cake for the newly married to enjoy privately. You may then include the top tier in the number of servings you order and serve this tier to your wedding party or honored guests. If the design you choose is not sufficient to serve your guests, supplemental sheet cakes can be made.

We offer tastings and consultations to prospective brides and grooms by appointment. There is a fee of $20 for a tasting which is later deducted from the cost of your cake if you book with us.

We require a 25% retainer to reserve your date which becomes non-refundable 21 days prior to your wedding date. The final payment for your cake is due no later than 14 days prior to your event date or must be paid in cash or by credit card.

Because our equipment is quite expensive, we require a deposit for cake stands, etc. that may be returned damaged or may not be returned at all. This deposit is fully refunded when the equipment is returned in good condition. Unless advance arrangements are made all equipment is due back within 5 days or a late fee of $5 per day may be charged and return of the equipment will still be required.
